Betsy & Iya is a local staple offering handmade designed-in-Portland jewelry, accessories and a multitude of other carefully curated wares. They asked us to collaborate on planning and design for the expansion of their brick and mortar. We were inspired by their unstoppable creative energy and up for the technical challenge of getting a historical brick building up to code. We helped them to literally bust out of their tiny space into a gorgeous new fabrication studio and office. Concrete floors, a reclaimed wood wall, pops of mint, yellow and contrasting black and white graphics complement the shiny brass cutwork castoffs-turned-artwork from their production.
SCOPE: Commercial Tenant Improvement, Interior Design. ADA restroom, furniture and lighting.
