WOMEN OWNED· PORTLAND, OREGON · SINCE 2010
COLLECTED, CONVIVIAL, ART-FORWARD, LAYERED INTERIOR DESIGN IN PORTLAND, OR
Bright Designlab is a women-owned interior design firm creating bold, deeply personal homes in Portland, across Oregon, California, and across the globe. Voted Best Interior Design Firm in Portland in 2026, we bring a distinctive point of view to whole-home remodels, custom kitchen design, and thoughtfully curated furniture and finishes. Led by Founder + Principal Alissa Pulcrano and Creative Director Katie Dahl, our team designs spaces rooted in your story and the way you live. Since 2010, we’ve brought creative vision and considered detail to residential interiors that are unapologetically individual. Our aim is to create legacy homes - spaces with texture, architectural relevance, and rebellion against cookie-cutter minimalism - resulting in purpose and lasting meaning.

what we do
WHOLE HOME, COMPREHENSIVE NARRATIVE
Full-service interior design and renovation, from kitchens and baths to whole homes. We bring a layered, expressive sensibility to Portland’s historic Craftsman and midcentury homes and new construction alike - creating spaces with character, depth, and individuality.
CUSTOM FURNITURE, FF&E PACKAGES
Curated furnishing packages, and creating bespoke custom pieces, fabricated by our cherished fabricators who are the artists of Portland's design scene and sourced from small reliable makers around the world, selecting pieces that were made for the room they live in.
Recognized among Portland's top interior design firms, we design whole-home remodels, kitchen and bath renovations, and round out the spaces with custom, expertly curated FF&E packages. Featured in ADPro, Remodelista, ArchiPro, Dwell and 1stDibs, we do all design work in-house.
